I'm married to Ian. We live in Dumfries with our son Joe. I grew up in Sanquhar and Dumfries, spent four years in Ayr at teacher training college and 13 years teaching in Stranraer before returning to Dumfries. I taught here then Dalbeattie before retiring last year due to ill health. I've been with UW for five years. I worked my business as and when I could alongside my teaching job. Now that I've retired I can catch up with friends and family at a time that suits me and rest when I need to. I've been a UW customer since 2013, becoming a partner two years later. Best move ever, as it allowed me to eventually cut my five day working week down to just three days. Presently I work as an outreach postal assistant. I have three gorgeous grandkids soon to be four and along with their mum, my partner and our dogs, all help to make up my life bubble.
