A SIM-only deal gives you data, minutes, and texts for a set monthly cost. However, you don’t get a new phone like you would with a mobile phone deal – you just get the SIM.

The easiest way to tell if your phone is unlocked is by inserting a different SIM card from another network into your mobile. If you’re able to connect to the internet, make calls, and send text messages, your phone is likely unlocked.
If you don’t have another SIM card from a different network provider, you can also check by going into your phone’s settings.
