Both myself and my children were diagnosed with a rare condition of muscular dystrophy and during the last few years I have struggled to work full time. I became a UW Partner over three years ago to allow me to work from home and work flexible hours to suit me and my family. I thought it would just help bring in an extra income for a couple of months but it's the best decision I ever made! I am able to spend time with my family and help other families do the same as well as help them lower their bills. It might sound boring initially, but it’s so rewarding when you can help hundreds of families reduce their monthly spend and have more time with loved ones.

I spend most of my spare time volunteering within my community on a number of projects, such as a Parent Governor and Treasurer of a PTA. I love music and I sing with a local ladies choir raising money for different charities. I've previously worked within the entertainment and events industry, organising many events from weddings to networking events etc. As FOH Manager, over-seeing theatre, cinema and private parties, etc. I especially enjoyed writing and delivering Staff Training sessions. I love my community but most of all I love people and it gives me great pleasure and satisfaction when helping people.

That said, I'm no traditionalist. I hate cleaning and hubby does 95% of the cooking! I've had my own photography business since 2007, but when I wanted to take time out to have babies, I realised my photography wouldn't pay me to go on maternity leave. If I stopped taking photos, I'd stop getting paid. Then, in 2010, I discovered UW and have never looked back. I don't get excited by utility bills, but I adore being able to help people save and make money to change their life. It's given me freedom to pursue my dreams, financial security in challenging times, and satisfaction from helping lots. I'd love to help you do the same!
