I began working for UW after being diagnosed with MS as I needed to be self employed. I have worked with UW for over seven years and in that time I moved from Doncaster to my hometown, Durham. My three daughters have joined me here for the fresher country life. I love to travel, my most recent adventure was in Keswick, the lakes, and last month Tenerife. Before covid it was Rome, which was paid for by UW just for doing what I'm paid to do. My next goal is a cruise, which is on my bucket list. My social life is very active with many old school friends I've known for 50 years. We enjoy walks, cinema, lunches and nice wine. Life has only just begun.

I have run my own carpet and upholstery cleaning business for nearly 35 years, so I know how to look after people and customers. I joined UW in May 2010 to create financial security and a pension plan –important when you're self-employed. I pride myself in taking care of my customers and am always on hand to help with anything, like a personal account manager.
