I’ve lived in North Battersea for many years and I’ve seen huge changes in the neighbourhood. I love to visit Battersea Power Station with friends and family to enjoy a scrumptious meal at a riverside restaurant or travel to Greenwich by Uber boat. Learning I could earn an extra income by helping people save on their utility bills was a no-brainer so I joined as a Partner during lockdown. Seeing my customers making massive savings prompted me to join as a customer also. Great decision and savings! Now I spend my spare time helping others save money and I get paid for it. Hi, my name is Emma and I have been a UW Partner since April 2022. I’m also a UW customer. I am a medical doctor by profession and also run a social enterprise, teaching science to children aged 10 to 16. I have lived in South West London most of my life, and I love the vibrancy and history. I would describe myself as a fun and courageous person with a real passion for life and business. Always striving to better myself and help others achieve their goals. I have an absolute adrenaline bug in me and love all things high octane, including sports performance cars, snowboarding, quad biking, go-carting and, hopefully one-day, skydiving! Having lived in many different cities across Spain and in the UK including, Leeds, Oxford, Aberdeen, Manchester and now London, I have a real flavour for different cultures and ways of life, not to mention the old saying of “that’s just how we do it here” – so it’s really great to see so many different types of communities and how different cities communicate in different ways and bringing all those worlds together. I take a real sense of pride and joy in helping others become more entrepreneurial, working towards their goals and building a bigger financially free future no matter what their past experiences or knowledge.
