I’m a single parent, working full-time, and I run my UW business part-time. I believe that great days start with knowing that you're in safe hands and that's what UW offers. The pandemic taught us all that we don't know what's round the corner. Thankfully UW, my part time Plan B income, was something I could rely on when my training work stopped overnight in March 2020. I started when my children left school. I spent their school years fundraising for their schools so was suddenly “out of a job.” I joined UW because I wanted to earn some money for a change. And I haven’t looked back! I live in Wheathampstead with Tony, my partner. We have four children and three grandchildren between us.
