I’m a wife and mum of two teenage boys. I enjoy working from home and around the family. I also love helping people save money! I’ve been with UW since January 2023, and have some 30 years’ experience in sales. It’s fabulous to be helping people in the North Yorkshire area.
I’m Iain and I’ve lived in Harrogate since 2013, when my wife and our then one-year-old son moved up from Sussex to be closer to family. Myself, Hannah, and our (now) two boys love being in Yorkshire; and I now fortunately get to see large parts of it as a supermarket delivery driver. I’ve been a customer of UW since 2011, and a Partner since 2019. I love showing people how it works, and how I can either help them save money, make money, or both! If you’re looking to sort out your bills, and beat all these cost of living increases, we should talk. If you wish to make extra money this year, and want to learn about the concept of a recurring residual income, we should talk.
Hey I’m Amber, a mum of 3. I was that impressed with my own savings and the peace of mind knowing my utilities are all in one place, I knew my friends and family would love the benefits too.I have been a happy customer and partner for a long time now. I love the flexibility of working around my children’s schedules, never missing their special moments and school events. As well as spending time in the gym and having brunches with my friends. If you are looking for time freedom as well as some extra money each month, I would love to help you create more choices.

8 Apr 2026 : Want to get more leads for your business? You’re in the right place. Whether you’re running a side hustle, looking to grow your customer base.
Caring for little ones is a full-time job in itself – but if you’re looking for ways to bring in some extra money while staying at home with the kids, you’re not alone.
From increasing costs of living to unexpected (and unplanned) payments that can take their toll on your bank account, there’s a time when we could all benefit from a bit of extra cash — even when we’re working a full-time role.
If you’ve ever recommended a great product or service to a friend or family member, you’ve already used word-of-mouth marketing. It’s all about sharing your personal experience and helping others make smart choices.
UW Partners in and around are people just like you, who earn an extra income by introducing others to UW and helping them sign up as customers. They also help people to become a UW Partner and start earning an income by recommending UW to their friends and family.
Yes, of course – over 1,386,585 customers and 80,000 UW Partners already do. We’re also regulated by the energy regulator Ofgem, the telecoms regulator Ofcom, and the Financial Conduct Authority. We’ve been doing business for nearly three decades and are listed on the London Stock Exchange, which means we’re one of the UK’s largest publicly-owned companies.
You can earn up to £300 in upfront commission for every customer you help sign up to UW in and beyond. But your total earnings will depend on the effort you’re prepared to make – the more time you put in and the more people you introduce to UW, the more you’ll earn.
As well as upfront commission, you can also get paid a residual income, which is an incremental percentage of your customers’ bills for as long as they stay with UW. And if you choose to build your own team of Partners in and around , you’ll earn residual income from the customers that they sign up too.
Over time, this could mean you go from earning some extra cash working from home in to a serious additional income that can support major lifestyle choices.
It’s up to you – there are no targets, time limits or set hours. So you can fit being a UW Partner around your life and schedule, and do as much – or as little – as you want. What’s more, you’ll also get all the training you need and be part of an active and supportive community, so you don’t need any previous sales experience to join.
Good news – anyone can become a Partner. The only thing you need to join UW is a can-do spirit. And if you’re sitting there thinking, ‘but I know nothing about utilities!’ Fear not. Ensuring that every new starter feels fully supported and confident is a big priority for us. That’s why when you join we’ll give you everything you need to get up and running.
If you’re someone who enjoys chatting and helping people, then being a Partner will be right up your street. And if you know quite a few different groups of people in and around (friends, family, colleagues, sports clubs, societies) then you’re also already onto a winner.
Consider yourself a bit more of an introvert? Don’t you worry, there are loads of Partners who have made UW a success despite not being chatterboxes. Plus, the intro training covers all the different ways you can make UW work for you, whatever your skill set.
